Annexair's energy recovery ventilators are designed, manufactured and tested in accordance to all accepted industry standards. Every single unit is ETL-listed. All the parts and components conform to their respective standards: UL, CSA, Eurovent, ASHRAE, ARI, DIN24163, AMCA, SMACNA.
Annexair maintains a comprehensive quality control program that follows every unit through the manufacturing process. All incoming parts and materials are inspected and tagged before going to the production floor. The assembly process is supervised continuously for proper fabrication; every step is verified for completion before moving down the assembly line. The wired and piped units undergo a series of tests to guarantee proper operation and performance. Testing includes all power and control systems, airflow measurements, pressure testing, and running the unit at the limits of its envelope of performance to ensure proper operation even in extreme conditions. Air-cooled condensing units are vacuumed, filled with refrigerant and pressure tested for leaks. Heat pumps are tested under simulated operating conditions using as a water source a 4,000-gallon water tank buried 16 ft deep in the factory grounds. All units are cleaned and inspected prior to shipping; air duct openings are covered and pipes are capped. To protect the unit during transport, indoor units are wrapped in plastic and outdoor units covered with tarps in the winter months.
