Annexair is modeled on contemporary management philosophies. Annexair's management believes that high quality products can only be created in a clean, safe, and positive work environment. This is the vision that guided the latest factory expansion and redesign, completed in 2006. The production area is clean, well lit and air-conditioned. The walls and floors are all light colored and there is an abundance of windows to take maximum advantage of natural light. The production floor is based on the Visual Manufacturing method. The factory has no interior walls and using a system of colors and signage creates a clear visual definition of the different manufacturing areas. Departments and machinery are located so that parts and sub-assemblies can be moved freely from one production stage to the next. Production supervisors always have a full view of the production floor allowing optimal control of the workflow. This well-organized layout contributes to high productivity and improved safety. |
